Trash & recycling pickup day is every Friday at 7am.
If a GFL company holiday lies within the week, trash will be picked up one day later than usual.
If there was bad weather during the week and you are unsure of whether service will be delayed, GFL will notify the neighborhood and do their best to attempt to collect trash and recycling within 48hrs. If it has not been collected in that time period, it will be collected on the following pickup date.

Bulk items or non-standard household trash items are removed on an “On-Call” basis. These must be scheduled and paid for in advance.
If you need to set up a Bulk Item Pickup, please call 816-380-5595 and speak with a customer service associate.
Bulk items include residentially generated household items that can be readily moved by two people, including mattresses, couches, box springs, chairs, dressers, desks, doors, windows, and other household furniture.
Bulk items DO NOT INCLUDE appliances, computers, monitors and other electronics waste, hazardous waste (paint, solvents, lawn chemicals, etc.), tires, automotive parts, and construction materials. Excluded items will not be collected.
Yard waste must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or bundled and neatly placed at the curb for collection.
No cans or other rigid containers can be used for yard waste disposal. Limbs and branches cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter, four feet in length and must be tied in a bundle with twine. All items must be 40 pounds or less in weight.
Plastic bags will not be accepted. Wood fencing, landscape timbers, flowerpots, yard decorations, mulch, rock, dirt and similar items will not be accepted.
GFL will accept Christmas trees that have been cut into sections no more than four feet in length and all decorations and lights removed.
During times of hazardous winter weather conditions, yard waste services could possibly be canceled for the week.
