To date, the 2023 pool season has been unusually difficult caused by the influx of minors gaining access to our pools illegally and in violation of posted rules. This includes residents ignoring the rules for the number of guests allowed for anyone under 18, using stolen cards, hopping the fence, and illegally opening the security gates. The pools are meant for the enjoyment of all the residents and recent behavior exhibited by these groups have caused us to hire extra security and replace damaged items at both pools. In addition to the property damage, we have had to call the police on multiple occasions for theft, trespassing, underage drinking, and unruly behavior. We are imploring all residents to help mitigate these incidents by not allowing your cards to be used by non-residents and making sure your minor children are aware of the rules below. Any resident under 18 is allowed only one guest and any minor resident allowing too many guests in will risk having their card revoked. We are asking parents to help monitor this situation. Repeated violations will cause the revocation of pool cards for the season.
If any resident observes a problem, we ask they alert Sentry Management at (913) 749-5570, a Falcon Ridge Board member or call the City of Lenexa non-emergency police line at (913) 477-7300.
Guests
- Each adult Owner is entitled to bring no more than four (4) Guests at a time to the pool (i.e. 8 per household maximum).
- Only an Owner or Resident who is a “Member in Good Standing” of the Falcon Ridge HOA may bring Guests to the Falcon Ridge facilities.
- A Resident must always accompany all Guests while on the property.
- All Guests must leave the property when the Resident leaves.
- All Guests are expected to obey all HOA rules. Residents will be held accountable for their Guests’ behavior and may be subject to fines and revocation of membership privileges as defined above.
- Rules for use of the Pool are posted in the Pool area.
- Unescorted non-residents will be asked to leave the area and will be considered in trespass unless accompanied by a hosting Owner/Resident.
Minors
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (or a responsible person authorized in writing by the parent) at all times while in the pool area.
- A resident aged 13-18 years of age may bring one guest of the same age or older to the pool.
